Meet Melissa
As a trusted coach and strategist to law firm leaders, Melissa helps seller-doers build business development programs that deliver results and support firmwide goals. She draws on deep experience from both in-house roles, including at Cooley, and as a partner at the Zeughauser Group, advising AmLaw 100 firms.
Over the years, she has learned that authenticity is essential to meaningful progress. She explains:
“Without authenticity, our marketing and business development efforts aren’t just less effective, they become a slog.”
In her role as an advisor, Melissa aims “to hold people accountable and encourage them to stretch beyond their comfort zones, but in a way that’s true to their goals and personal style.”
What drives her most? “Seeing my clients’ progress and sharing in their successes, and at times their setbacks, is what I love about my job,” she says. “I’m genuinely invested in each client, and I think they feel that when we work together.”
